I am really feeling this Monday. My head feels like a ton of bricks paired with a pressure headache. Sinuses? Maybe. I am also in a "Monday"-like mood. Thankfully, it is almost over. To pass the time luckily there was an abundance of good movies on today. Some of them being Kiss Me Kate, Rebel Without a Cause, and Dead Poet's Society. All very good for an icy-weather-stay-in-headache-Monday day like today.

My mom is sitting on the couch learning Italian on a cd for our fast-approaching trip this summer. I am getting pretty excited! We're visiting Rome, Caprice, Florence, and the Greek islands. I'm especially jazzed about the Greek islands! I cannot wait to explore and live a few days like the people there do. Sure, going to see the big attractions and landmarks will be great, but I love finding things on my own, watching people, and whatnot. Watching people... hm makes me sound like a creeper.

Within the next month I will be deciding which college I'll be attending. The colleges in debate are Northwestern State University, LSU, and Ole Miss. Waiting on letters from LSU and Ole Miss, but they should be arriving in the next few weeks. I am so ready to leave this town. I think I'll miss maybe 5% of the people around here. As for the rest, I doubt you will miss me either :)

It's funny to watch the people of Northeast Louisiana stocking up like the apocolypse is coming when it's just a little ice and sleet. I'm not complaining though, got me out of school on a Monday.

New playlist includes: Band of Horses, The Shins, Belle and Sebastian, Coconut Records, Coldplay, etc. "Whip My Hair" may or may not be on there.... guilty pleasures.
