Today has been... one of those days. Actually, make that this week. This week has been so long and drawn out. Today felt like a Friday to me. That must be because Fridays are usually the days that my butt gets kicked by a math test. However, it got to be Thursday this time. Yippee. It was one of those days where I walk around wanting to punch random people. Now I sound violent. It really was a lame day though. Luckily, I had rehearsal tonight for Back to the 80s. Being around your best friends tends to improve your mood. There's just something magical about the theatre. I can be having the worst day, but going and getting on the stage just does something to me. It's a special place.

The new season of Survivor started last night. Eh, not too sure how I feel about it. Sure, there is the new "Redemption Island" twist. I won't give my opinion on that until I see more of it. I'm more perturbed by the whole "Russel vs. Boston Rob" hooplah. To me, they're old has-beens. Sure they are schemers, strategists, and in Rob's case a "leader." However, they're outdated, over-used players who have never won. They've both played the game two or three seasons each. I think they've been riding this gravy train just a bit too long. Last night's episode seemed a little scripted. Hopefully they'll both be eliminated and the game can continue as usual and give the players their own individuality.

This weekend is Mardi Gras. I've been turning around some ideas for plans in my head. I'd like to go to the parade, but I'd also like to have a get-together. Hmmm, we shall see what the weekend holds! Happy Thursday ya'll.

In liew of me wanting to punch people:

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Oh, what a wonderful day. I have always loved February 14th. Whether you have a special valentine, or not... today is a day to be celebrated I believe. I'm sure everyone out there has at least one person they love; be it family, friends, a significant other, or even a pet. There is no reason to sit around and pout. Stock up on the chocolate, the cards, and the love! Today we happen to be reading the poem "To the Virgins, Make Much of Time" by Robert Herrick. I thought it was quite fitting for Valentine's Day.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
The higher he's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
And nearer he's to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
And while ye may, go marry:
For having lost but once your prime,
You may for ever tarry.

"Gather ye rosebuds while ye may"... Carpe Diem! Seize the Day everyone! Tell someone that you love them. They might never know, but today is a day for telling. Seize the day.

My bad everyone. I thought no one was even reading this thing, but apparently they do! I've actually gotten some requests to update this. Makes me feel happy!

In college news, I'm deciding between Ole Miss, NSU, and LSU. I'm still crossing my fingers for Ole Miss, but I really need more scholarship money from them first. We'll see!

We finished up Snow White last weekend. I was unbelievably pleased with how the show went, and it helped raise money. Thanks to everyone who came out and saw the show. It was such a blast to be a part of! If you missed out, that is so unfortunate. I had a lot of fun with this show. We had auditions for "Back to the 80s" last night and should be finding out the casting within the week. I am already super excited for this one. Think High School Musical.... set in the 80s with a much better script! It's going to be hilarious. Can't wait!

And the biggest news yet... I got a puppy! Her name is Juno. She's a shnoodle! 3/4 Shnauzer and 1/4 poodle. She's about the cutest and sweetest little puppy ever. She loves to cuddle up and sleep with me. I am enjoying my new cuddle buddy! :)

Oh gee, I wish I had more interesting things to say right now... but I'm all out!

I'm kind of obsessed with Thumbelina lately. I hadn't watched it since I was little, but I watched it recently and cried. Yes... I cried. The romantic in me just thought it was so beautiful!

And this is just an awesome song!
