Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Oh, what a wonderful day. I have always loved February 14th. Whether you have a special valentine, or not... today is a day to be celebrated I believe. I'm sure everyone out there has at least one person they love; be it family, friends, a significant other, or even a pet. There is no reason to sit around and pout. Stock up on the chocolate, the cards, and the love! Today we happen to be reading the poem "To the Virgins, Make Much of Time" by Robert Herrick. I thought it was quite fitting for Valentine's Day.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
The higher he's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
And nearer he's to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
And while ye may, go marry:
For having lost but once your prime,
You may for ever tarry.

"Gather ye rosebuds while ye may"... Carpe Diem! Seize the Day everyone! Tell someone that you love them. They might never know, but today is a day for telling. Seize the day.
